After high school a brand new world begins to open up. You are headed towards those hallowed halls of higher education. It may have been several years since you graduated high school and you are entering college as a non-traditional student.

Limit the money you spend on entertainment. Many college students are not willing to do this. They go out to the clubs and bars and before you know it, they just spent $50-$100 in one night. Set aside certain nights only during the month that you are going to go our and spend money. On the other nights, try to find free entertainment around the campus and with your friends.

I’d listen, pray, encourage and then continue to do all that needs to be done to prepare your daughter in case she decides a week before college that she wants to go after all.
